An open Letter from NYC

Hello!

Greetings from New York City! Right now, Elin and I are again in an Apple Store, where you're allowed to check your emailos for free. Great Service!
Anyway, since three days now we're rocking the big Apple, and I must say: It's awesome!

Next to our house is the Washington square and the NYU, so we're living next to a lot of students. Alos, there is right now the 5th annual TriBeCa Film Festival. Tonight we're going to check out the festival, but first of all we have to got to the top of Manhattan, the Empire State Builing.

So far, the whole vacation is amazing, I'm really not looking forward to our flight home on Saturday.

But, with three days left in one of the biggest citys in the world, this is gonna be some fun.

So, see ya soon!

At the corner of Fillmore and Hayes Street

Good Morning, everybody!

The Countdown to the wedding is about to start today. The rest of the german guests are arriving in the afternoon, which means, Elin and I gotta change rooms. But before that, we'll going to the Golden Gate Bridge. This is one of the last important vistas, we have to visit. Then only Alcatraz is left, but tomorrow is also a good day to do so.
From tomorrow on we'll gonna have not that much time left, because on Saturday is the wedding. Of course there's a rehearsal Dinner tomorrow, we have to got to. I'm actually excited, hope, it's gonna be a wedding like in the movies. Funny thing is, there are two more groomsmen than bridesmaids, so we going to see a gay couple, like it's supposed to be on a wedding in San Francisco.
Damn, I really wanna show you some pictures. Here on the Corner of Market and Castro, where the gay neighborhood starts, is the biggest rainbow flag you'll ever see. And the have mixed the flag of the USA with the rainbow flag, which actually looks really funny. I think, they'll should put that one up on the White House.

Well, anyway, I heard it's snowing again in Munich? What the F***???
Here it's a little cloudy, but 18 degrees Celsius, so it's ok. Except yesterday, when we went up Twin Peaks, there it was quite windy.

So, that's enough boring news from me so far.

Have a nice day!

I left my heart in San Francisco

Hi Folks,

finally the first post from the States! Damn, it's really great here! Right now I'm sitting in a reaggeastyle Internetcafe and checking on my emails and some news from home. I was able to do so in the local Apple Store, but you can't sit there and every 5 seconds someone's asking you if they can help you, which is a little bit annoying after approx. 10 seconds.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you a little bit about our trip here. The flight from germany was ok, we got an hour delay in Philadelphia, but ok. Oh, btw. I was always thinking, Americans love the air conditioning, but in philadelphia it was like going to brasil. Well, we're here in San Francisco since Friday evening and the City is absolutely awesome!!!
We're staying in a little victorian house next to market street and castro street. Over the last few days we tried to see almost everything, but I think that's immpossible. But we met with the bride and the groom already and his dad was showing us around.
Later this day we wanna go to Haight Ashbury, where all the Hippies were and maybe Twin Peaks.

But the big fun is going to be on saturday. The wedding we're invited to is supposed to be in Berkeley at a restaurant with the perfect view over the whole bay.

And on Monday, April 10th, we (my girlfriend and me) starting our 3 week trip to Las VEgas, Wsahington DC and New York City.
I'll come back soon and tell you more.

Stay tuned and Peace out!
